Dead Man

Another victim of this crime

shadows marched like the past

their tolerance void in cold eyes

took freedom and spat upon it

Can you see the crosses burning

shouting hate and spreading fear

take your hate the hell out of here

stop the blood shed on this land

Dead man hanging from a tree

Dead man because of his color

Dead man killed by the Klan

Dead man should still be alive

This world can't be all one race

it's not the way it's going to be

so open your closed hard heart

we are all brothers and sisters

Nobody has the right to murder

need to burn your white sheets

we have to live in peace together

on this small planet in the stars
